Access Control

Access control forms a major part of every large organisations security system. Unless managed effectively by observing or controlling who goes where and when, organisations with multi-sites can be extremely vulnerable to loss from both external and internal crime.

At the same time as protecting buildings and employees access control systems must be flexible enough to enable people to do their jobs – whether it’s managing deliveries, sub-contractors, temporary employees or job changes – truly effective access control must allow for the smooth operational running of a building as well as the rigours of protecting it.

To remain effective, security systems rely on flexibility – access control needs to be adaptable and what’s more it needs to integrate easily with other systems. Integration with CCTV is a must in times of high alert and be able to generate accessible data and information from which security advisors can detect and/or predict trends and vulnerabilities.
